I took my small 1 yr old rescue kitty for her first trip in the backpack today. I left the backpack out in the house for a week after it arrived so she could get used to it and get curious about what it’s for. I am trying to acclimate her to riding in the car and seeing it as a fun experience. We took a trip to Petsmart, she loved looking at all the other pets walking around. Tomorrow we will go for a short walk around the lake. I am getting an 8 week old kitten soon, I am pretty sure they will both be comfortable in this pack - though, I’m not sure for how long. The pack is comfortable to wear and can be belted in for the car journey. It has a chest strap. I would prefer the side pockets were bigger so that I could fit a bottle of water but such is life. The moon window is also a little finicky to fit, persevere and you will overcome! It is still a great backpack.
